The Magic of St. Armand’s Circle

Posted by on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 at 1:22pm.

An eclectic blend of boutique shops, eateries, bars and retail stores, St. Armand’s Circle is everything tourists and locals alike has to offer. Below I have listed several places that are must-sees and must-dos when on your Tour-de-Armand’s.

So, what is there to do on the circle? Well, to start may I recommend The Met –day spa and part fashion palace. If you enjoy getting pampered in a day spa, then this is the place for you. It caters to men and women of all ages and has multiple treatments for you and your family.

For you smokers out there, Bennington Tobacconist an old-school smoke shop with a vast selection of cigars, pipes, humidors and other smoking accessories. These pipes and accessories are hand-crafted in shop and they are more than happy to tell you in detail how the process is done.

If you are the jewelry type who loves to sport all of your sparkling accessories, then St. Armand’s Circle is the absolute best place to go in Sarasota. As you know, Sarasota has its fair share of dolphins in the area. You can see them sightseeing or you can get your very own personalized diamond dolphin at Jewelry by Cole. If you are about to pop the question to your lady, then may I recommend McCarver & Moser for a new shiny rock on her finger.

There are a myriad of fine clothing retailers, as well. If you are tired of the same old big name brands then may I recommend Dream Weaver Collection which offers world-famous linens and clothing? Other big names include Kiss of the Wolf, Catherine Bacon, Sarah Pacini, Carter Smith amongst others.

Let’s not forget about the culinary portion of your tour. With restaurants such as Colombia Restaurant, a Spanish themed eatery which is a staple on the Key, and throughout the area—your pallet will never be disappointed. You will hear the Columbia name from Tampa all the way to Armand’s. There are also French Bistros, Italian dining, seafood, and much more. If you need a nice dessert after your meal, check out The Fudge Factory to delight your sweet tooth.

For afterhours the Circle harbors a few places to grab an ice-cold beverage such as the area famous chain Daiquiri Deck, Lynches Pub & Grub, and Surf Shack (also has a delicious cheeseburger, if I may add). Most restaurants have a happy hour and can cater to anyone’s preference.

Come check out the magic of St. Armand’s Circle. You won’t be disappointed!
