Not to worry--multiple restaurants around town are opening their kitchen doors for those families who want some quality food out of the house.
Marina Jacks: 2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota, 941-365-4232. Imagine having a Thanksgiving dinner overlooking one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Plus, there is not only one, but two Thanksgiving specials. For $29 per person, you can enjoy a traditional turkey dinner with all the sides you can imagine. If you're not a turkey fan, how about a prime rib special for $33 per person?
Chart House: 201 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key, 941-383-5593. Want to have Thanksgiving dinner waterfront? What could be better than dinner with a view? Then come to Chart House. They will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving feast that many have raved about in the past. You can make reservations online or give them a call.
Columbia Restaurant: 411 St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, 941-388-3987. One of the oldest and beloved restaurants in Southwest Florida. The Columbia has served Thanksgiving dinner to residents for decades. You will be able to dine outside on a beautiful Thanksgiving afternoon on the one-and-only St. Armands Circle. For $24 per adult and $6 for children you can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. You'll be in for a treat, as some secret family recipes are part of the meal plan. You'll want to call early to make a reservation at this gem!
Duval’s: 1435 Main Street, Sarasota, 941-312-4001. You can enjoy a lovely traditional Thanksgiving feast from 11:30 AM-6:30 PM on Thanksgiving day. $36 per adult and $24 for children. If you're not looking for the traditional meal, Duval's will be offering a “special holiday menu” as well.
Michael’s On East: 1212 East Ave South (Midtown Plaza) Sarasota, 941-366-0007. Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Michael’s will stay on course as per tradition and offer the regular menu as well as a special holiday menu for $43 per person (adult or child).
Der Dutchman: 3713 Bahia Street, Sarasota, 941-955-8007 10:30 AM-5 PM. If you're looking to really get stuffed, Thanksgiving will be served buffet-style this year. Der Dutchman will provide a vast array of dishes from traditional Thanksgiving dishes to a dessert bar. In addition, carry out options are available.
Westin-Downtown Sarasota: 100 Marina Drive, Sarasota, 941-260-8255. This Thanksgiving, the Westin is having three separate seatings: Noon, 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Of course, the traditional Thanksgiving menu is available. However, Westin will also be serving prime rib and a seafood option will be available, as well. The price is $60 for adults and$24.95 for children.
